Random Thoughts

Like a ripple in the calm waters
Something broke the stillness within me
For a moment I gazed at the skies
The rain blurring my sight
Far away in the horizon
A faint glimmer beckons
A new life awaits yonder
And behind me lies my past
buried in the eternity of time

thousands of unanswered questions
resonating within my mind
like a magnet something pulls me
but resisting everything
I hold myself back
the urge to give in is strong
yet the fear of change overpowers

like an inevitable dream
a shadow creeps along the wall
and crawls silently towards the faint glimmer
as I follow its obscured course
A thought like a thorn
Stuck in my mind
Is it me or someone else?
